Massage Clinics

Fall / Winter Massage / Bodywork Clinics

Come join me in a 3 part series of Equine Bodywork where we will take the time to talk about tension release, saddle fit tips, massage techniques and stretches for your horse.
All sessions are outdoor, unless the weather is precipitating, winds over 15mph, or temps less than 20 degrees.
Our location is in Platteville Colorado, approx 15 miles East of I-25 and Hwy 66.  Since our clinics are held at a private residence, the exact address will only be given to attendees that sign up for the clinic.
You are welcome to bring your horse, audit, or we do have a few quiet and willing horses available for use during the sessions.
Each session is open to an unlimited amount of auditors, and 6 attendees with horses.  The cost is $25 per auditor and $50 with your horse.  I do reserve two 30 minute sessions immediately following the clinic for private / individual instruction for an additional $30 per 30 min session.   Sign up for all three sessions and save!
Due to the time involved in these sessions, I do not offer refunds.  I do however, allow you to transfer your session to a friend, or reschedule on a later date.

Session 1 - A focus on the poll, head, and neck.
In this 90 minute session we will be going over tension release in the poll, face and jaw.  Massage techniques in the neck and some good lateral stretches to keep your equine limber and comfortable!
Nov 5 from 10:00-11:30
Dec 3 from 11:00 - 12:30
Jan 7 from 11:00 - 12:30
Feb - 4 from 11:00 to 12:30

Session 2 - The shoulders, back and lateral muscles.
This session is full of great information that will encourage a more relaxed topline and greater lateral movement, we will discuss saddle fit tips and some great winter exercises to maintain a nice topline on chilly winter days.

Dec 10 from 11:00 - 12:30
Jan 14 from 11:00 - 12:30
Feb 11 from 11:00 - 12:30

Session 3 - The whole hind end!  Perhaps my most favorite part of the horse to work on as some of the techniques we go over in these sessions make such a difference in the way your horse moves and responds.  We discuss movement in the hind end, techniques for maintaining muscle tone to support joints,  increase flexibility, and promote circulation.
